Whether pitched or flat, bad weather (the likes of which we’re more than used to in Cornwall!) and general wear and tear can mean that, over time, you need to consider a roof replacement. Even if the damage isn’t obvious (such as a leak after a storm), dampness within the roof space can lead to problems with timbers and rot so if your house or building is particularly old, it may be worth checking for that too.
How much does a roof replacement cost?
That depends on the amount of work required. Sometimes only a small section needs replacing; where that’s the case, we’ll let you know.
The good news is that, once installed, a whole new roof can add considerable value to your home and could last for anything between 25 and 150 years. In addition, it will give you peace of mind from knowing your family home is well-protected.
The key thing is to ensure any roofing work you have done is covered by a professional roofing specialist rather than a general builder.
